A partially listed property transformed by the demolition of its existing East wing, which was later rebuilt and restored to its original design.
A new first floor was created above and the entire house reconfigured to improve the flow and provide new en-suite bathrooms throughout.
Working in collaboration with renowned classicist architects, Francis Johnson & Partners, John Evans Interior Architecture & Design created designs for a new 10x10m conservatory in keeping with and in the style of the original house.
Throughout the interior the client provided JEIA&D with ambitious and creative briefs for all rooms, including a ‘1970’s’ themed lounge. The house was furnished with a range of artefacts and artwork from the clients private collections along with new bespoke furniture and cabinetry designed in house.
