Initially approached to deliver a client’s design for one of their homes, John Evans Interior Architecture & Design were appointed as Lead Designers for this family period home within Central London.

While there was a clear scheme considered by the family for the house, the team were responsible for interpreting the client’s requirements producing new design ideas, detailed designs, technical details and specifications.

Created by merging two properties together, the four storey Georgian home includes a new basement with Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Wine Room and Staff Facilities.

Alterations to the Ground Floor included a new Central Staircase, Kitchen, Breakfast Room, Reception Room and Lift linking the entire home.

Other areas included a Principle Wing with his & her Bathrooms and Dressing Rooms, a Family Room and Guest Rooms which included En Suites, Bespoke Fitted Furniture and Bespoke Designed Fireplaces.

While acting as ‘Project Architects’ JEIA&D also sourced all finishes throughout including rare marbles and stone from Italy, Antique Fireplaces, Lighting, Decoration and furnishings, bringing everything together for the project.
